Romanillos Guitar Books
The Vihuela de Mano and the Spanish Guitar - A Dictionary of the Makers of Plucked and Bowed Musical Instruments of Spain. (1200-2002).

The much anticipated reference work on the Spanish Guitar and Vihuela by Jose Romanillos and his wife, Marian Harris Winspear. It is really a monumental reference on Spanish musical instrument makers, and contains over 1500 entries illustrating what is known of the lives of the makers. This book, along with the biography of Torres, is the product of an unprecedented amount of research on behalf of the authors that has spanned over decades and is the basis for which all other histories will be written.

Tobias Braun
The website of Tobias Braun. Tobias is a very talented and sought after guitar maker based in Austria. He was one of the instructors on the Romanillos Guitar Making course and an all around great person.
Gerhard Oldiges
The website of Gerhard J. Oldiges. Gerhard is a great guitar maker and posesses an absolute wealth of knowledge (much of it first hand) on the guitars of Torres and Hauser. His work along the lines of Hauser Sr. has been receiving the highest of praise recently. It was one of Gerhard's Torres-style guitars that first inspired me to attempt a tornavoz guitar.
Luca Waldner
The website of Luca Waldner, a maker of very fine guitars from Italy and co-author of "La Chitarra di Liuteria - Masterpieces of Guitar Making".
Jun Nakano
The website of Jun Nakano. Jun is an excellent craftsman, and though his website is in Japanese, it is well worth viewing on account of his amazing inlay work. One guitar featured on the website is a copy of the 1858 Torres guitar for which Antonio de Torres won a bronze medal. The copy is magnificient and flawless. I have seen this guitar in real life, and it is a true work of art.
