Purchase Agreement

This agreement states the terms of purchase for commissioning a guitar to be made by Joshua A. French. The specifications defined herein are agreed upon through signing this document, though amendments or changes can be allowed if agreed upon by both the purchaser and the maker.

A deposit of $1000, of which $500 is non-refundable, reserves the price of the guitar, and your place in line to have a guitar made. The remainder of the cost must be paid in full before delivery of the guitar. Any refund offered will be paid when the guitar is resold, regardless of whether construction has begun or not.

Additionally, the cost of any options beyond the base model are due at the time of order. All prices agreed upon are in US Dollars, and payment is required to be drawn in US funds. Delivery and mandatory insurance costs are paid by the purchaser.

As of 2007, an Ameritage case is included in the cost of the instrument.

Estimated date of completion is subject to change, and guitars are built solely on a first order,

first serve basis. No amendments are made to the order of the list once your place on it has

been secured through this agreement. No amendments to the cost of the instrument are

made once the agreement is signed and down payment received. Subsequent changes to the

agreement, such as upgrades in options, can only be made within two weeks of the initial

agreement.

All instruments carry a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. All repair work

work must be performed by the maker alone, and warranty issues are on a case by case basis.
